Kara presents our latest work on the Shu complex in the DNA Interest Group at the NIH, which is composed of 10-15 different satellite sites around the country. You can watch the talk through the NIH website at: http://videocast.nih.gov/summary.asp?Live=12419&bhcp=1
A lot to celebrate! Our first manuscript was accepted at Nucleic Acids Research entitled "The Shu complex interacts with Rad51 through the Rad51 paralogues Rad55-Rad57 to mediate error-free recombination" by Stephen Godin, Adam Wier, Faiz Kabbinavar, Dominique Bratton-Palmer, Harshad Ghodke, Bennett Van Houten, Andrew VanDemark, and Kara Bernstein. We are all very excited and particularly grateful to all the biochemistry help that we got from Adam, Harshad, Dr. Van Houten, and Dr. VanDemark. We are also particularly proud of our two undergrads, Faiz and Dominique, who worked hard on this project! |
